Action Painting is a dynamic style of abstract art where paint is applied spontaneously through physical movement, such as splashing, dripping, throwing, or pouring, rather than traditional brushstrokes.

The concept is simple: instead of focusing on a pre-planned image, the focus is on movement, emotion, and spontaneous energy.

None at all. It's all about process and fun.

We provide full protective gear, including overalls, shoe covers and non-slippery shoes. However, paint has a way of finding its secret paths and can stain on your clothes! Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, just in case.

A 30×40 canvas is included, but you can upgrade and purchase additional canvases.  You can also paint on the walls.

We use mainly high-quality Gouache from providers like Boesner.

Yes! Your canvas is yours to hang on your wall.

Yes! Action painting is fantastic for kids because there are no strict rules to follow—and remember, kids are washable and love getting dirty!

Our main Action Painting sessions are best suited for children aged 3 and up. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

(PS: We are currently working on dedicated sensory sessions for children under 3! We have a 8-month-old baby of our own who you’ll almost certainly see crawling around the studio.)

Absolutely! Action painting is one of the best team-building activities around because it breaks the ice instantly. We host corporate events, birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and private group sessions. Contact us for custom group packages.

We strongly recommend booking your slot online in advance to secure your space. Walk-ins are subject to availability.

Standard Sessions (Classic, Glow in the Dark & Family)

• Rescheduling (Free): You can move your appointment to a new date free of charge up to 48 hours before your session.

• Cancellation (85% Refund): You can cancel up to 7 days before your session to receive a refund minus a 15% processing fee (deducted to cover non-refundable payment provider fees and administration).

• Late Changes (< 48h / < 7 days): Cancellations under 7 days or rescheduling requests under 48 hours before the start time are non-refundable and cannot be moved.

Group Events, Birthdays & Private Parties

• Rescheduling (Free): You can move your event date free of charge up to 7 days prior to the session.

• Cancellation (75% Refund): You can cancel up to 14 days prior to the event to receive a refund minus a 25% processing fee.

• Late Changes (< 7 days / < 14 days): Event cancellations under 14 days or date changes under 7 days before the event are non-refundable.

The time gets reduced from your session, unless the room is available, then you can use your full hour.

Yes! We have in-house Specialty coffee serving freshly crafted coffee drinks, plus refreshments to keep your energy up before, during, or after your session.

We are located in the Hassia-Fabrik in Offenbach am Main (entrance via the inner courtyard, opposite the car park pay machine).

Parking is available on-site (2€ / hour), and street parking is available along Christian-Pleß-Straße free for 2 hours.

We are easily accessible by public transport:

• S-Bahn (S1, S2, S8, S9): Take any S-Bahn line to Offenbach (Main) Marktplatz. It is approx. 12min walk or a brief 2-minute bus ride straight to the Hassia-Fabrik.

• From Offenbach Hauptbahnhof: 7 min walk.

• Bus: Local bus lines (such as Bus 103 or Bus 104) stop right nearby at stations like Christian-Pleß-Straße or Justus-von-Liebig-Straße.
